hey gang, no humm, I had the guitar shielded better. my rig is : Fernandes - RP 250 - DL 4 - DD 20 - EH 2880 into mixer. A question on mixers. What I want to do is to be able to feed either looper and or record a loop in the DD 20 have it running, then record into the EH without recording the DD20s loop into it. Or bring the DD 20 into the EH if I want. I'm sorry if I'm not clear. Also I want to maintain a stereo signal throughout. Most mixers sum stereo auxs into mono. Would any Behringer xenyx do it? I think it has alt/3-4 and some subs. Anyway I am confused so I'll just throw it to ya! tanx, Jeff

Yes, trying to keep everything in stereo is a dilemma. I have the Xenyx 1622, which has 2 mono aux sends, but does have a handy alt 3/4 stereo subout. One option would be to make or buy a simple switch, enabling you to switch the alt 3/4 OP to either the DD20 or EH2880.
btw, how do you find the EH2880 ? Is the lack of undo a real problem, or is there a workaround ?

The 1622 is the one I was thinking about. Maybe an A/B/AB switchbox would do it if I can stay in stereo.
On the 2880 undo (lack of). hmmm, It does have a punch in button on the unit (not on the footswtch) but I have never used it. If I don't like what I just played I set the feedback low and keep playing in overdub. the loop length is quantized to the nearest beat so I don't get boundry timing errors when its synced to my Boss DR 670. If I am using it stand alone w/o quantize ala DL4 I just make it work or die a thousand deaths and start over, lol! I think with a midi pedal I could unlock lots more features (track mute, etc) The only real problem I have with it is a lack of headroom, I have to be careful what I feed it.
onward though the fog,
Jeff

I know that EH can be a bit quirky, but not having punch-in on the footswitch seems crazy. Thanks for your other comments about the 2880. I'm still not sure it's what I need. S.
