www.gordius.be/I recently received the Gordius Little Giant, modified to take 4 expression pedals. The web site has a feature list, but just to add. 1) yes, you can program any midi string on pressing a switch, and any other on release. 2) It's very well built, with high quality fast acting switches. 3) Latency is just a hint lower than the fcb1010 4) The expression pedal inputs are accurate enough to dial up an exact number ( 0-127) 5) power is 9V DC from walwart 6) There's a bit of learning to do before you can program it, because the setup is more sophisticated. After that it's really easy. Well, it is if you have a pc to run the editor(...mac version promised soon... ) otherwise there's a few menus to navigate on the devices own little screen. Creator Xavier is very helpful, and open to suggestions. afaik, this is the best footcontroller for looping, worth it if you can afford it.

If I start setting aside the money I make from looping gigs, I should be able to get one sometime around the 27th century. It does look exactly what I need though. Fingers crossed Xavier sells them by the bucketload and the prices comes down. Not that it doesn't represent good value, of course.

Buy one before November 15th and have a 20% discount A nice value is that it's possible to work with Xavier on wanted features. While I've delayed mine and other shoppings (due to job hunting), we've had some real good discussions about features. Xavier's way of doing software engineering allows for both a standard feature set, and custumer needs. As a former programmer, I understand such complexity; he's doing it in a smart way.. Yup, he really deserves good winds in his sails!

For those of you going to NAMM, Xavier and I have been discussing having a Little Giant in the Looperlative booth for people to look at.

I think Xavier is on this forum now Yeah, that wasn't easy Nick! I had to try several email addresses before I got in... Well, I'm happy to tell you sales are back to zero lately No, seriously, things were a little hectic lately, with the Gordius "launching offer" coming to an end I had a (very modest!) peek in deliveries to be handled. So I urgently needed a more quiet period to concentrate on further feature add-ons. Which I'm currently busy with - and then of course I should be preparing a few units for NAMM too... (I'll keep you posted on that, Bob! )
