First post here...just getting into looping and the first looping toy is a used Boss RC-20 that I'm borrowing from my Bro-in-Law. Anyhow, I have a reunion gig out this Friday with an Acoustic Trio that I played in for 6 years (I left a couple years ago). Was going to take my Mac + Ableton Live rig to lay down some loops and on-the-fly stuff with my Acoustic and HandSonic, but to make things easier for a one-off reunion gig I'm taking my RC-20. The setup: After initially really complicating things with extra footpedals and splitters, I worked with my setup to get it really simplified after building some decent Tube Pre-Patches (EQ, FX, Reverb) on my POD XT Live for both the Acoustic and the HandSonic, which are going to into the XT Live with an A/B pedal... The HandSonic sounds great through the XT Live, to boot. Will run the Left out on the XTL to the board and Right to the looper, which then runs to the board. Way cool, loads of fun and much less gear. -drew
