Didn't see a thread on this and thought it was needed. An ultra minimalist approach: battery power. easy to carry. Flexable sound.
Main input equipment: What ever you play that has great sound in a small package. Mic, coils, or hard wired.
Looping device: RC-20xl, DD-20,??
Amplification: Various
Misc: Effects or Drum track
Collection device: Large bills, small bills, change, CD rack

I've never busked, but if I was going to I'd probably use yamaha vss30 sampler ipod touch kaossilator mini-kp m-10mx mixer pandora px3 efects dd-20
not sure what i'd use for amplification, but the ion tailgater might be suitable

I could see putting on a dark suit, standing on a corner in Mountview, with an Iphone with Thumbjam, into a DD20, and busking. I could even work on my Keith Jarrett moves.
Would have to watch out for Gussing.

I've never busked, but if I was going to I'd probably use Me neither. However, I think I could get away with just a Zoom G2 plus amp - there's confidence for you!

What is the max length of a loop in the G2? 5 seconds, to which you can add other delays of up to 2 secs. It's fine if your loops are swirly, but you can't tap tempo, so rhythmic loops are hit & miss. I really should use it more than I do....

Thanks Nick, so is it just a long delay, or a separate looper function?
