I recently bought this MS20 filter clone to add some analogue grunge to the rather pristine digital sound of my Nord G2
It's most excellent and with high and low pass filters, with resonance, can be used to mangle sounds very nicely

I rue the day I got rid of my MS20 . I had hours of fun squirting my guitar through the input and seeing what came out the other side.

Yep, that's the one, it gives you just the filter section, but it's got CV control of the resonance of both filters as well as CV control of the filter cutoff of the filters They aren't currently in production, but are a lot cheaper to get hold of than an MS20

What a beast - more knobs than you can shake a ribbon controller at... funnily enough I've just bought a ribbon controller too and am now going through a rather noisy experimental phase Here's something I recorded on Sunday with the A100, ribbon controller, DD20 and Repeater a100_ribbon_loop_drone_190709

I have been keeping a covetous eye on Don Buckla's work for a long time. I saw a huge Modular Emu when Patrick Gleason was selling them at different fur trading company. he gave us a demo. WOW!
I have settled for "cheapness" and "cheeeeezey", electronica on a budget garage-tech, lo-tech. n-o-o-o-tech at all. I worked with Reason for years (6) and found the system is much more powerful than the usual applications. now that RECORDER will relieve the frustration factor when the two are integrated. I'm going to go back and see what's up.

and now I have one of these for streamlined things when the resonator is too much ridiculous amounts of fun for the money, especially with lfo modulation of the filter
