'Peter's Head' is actually quite an old track, I think produced prior to buying your XS-FX. The filtering of the main loop is done using either the Behringer 2024 autofilter or the Digitech StudioQuad, using the parametric EQs to produce a pseudo-auto filter effect. The other effects come either from a combination of the tape echo effect of the Korg AG3000 and a tape delay plug-in (applied when assembling the track within Reaper).

Thanks for listening Nick. I think the sound you mean is the 'spiccato' effeect used by slapping the e-bow down onto the strings, which gives quite a nice attacking string sound. Can you post pics to this forum, or is a link neccesary?
