Hi, My name is Jez, Unlike a lot of loopers I'm not a guitarist. I make spacey ambient/drone electronic music and use live sequencing and looping to provide layers of stuff to play over.
I started looping with a DD-20, but my main loop device now is an Electrix Repeater.
I was first exposed to looping when I saw Nick perform at an Awakenings in 2005 and I'm hoping to get him to play at another someday

Well, it's been a while since my last post, busy with life and music and stuff, but back again now
I guess you are right about sequencing being looping, but it's different in a way as you don't have to actually play the notes yourself and they can be edited an re-arranged whilst they are looping, as can the sound that is being sequenced, which I guess you can do with looping, but not to the same level of detail
and the repeater is nice, I quite like the fact you can change pitch and tempo on the fly, you can get some nice effects by gradually slowing tracks down and you can get some extreme time stretch effects if you like that sort of thing
