Hi all, I got into casual looping about a year ago. I have an Echoplex DPP and an Akai Headrush (which I loaned to my brother-in-law and have never even tried out!). I really enjoy playing/experimenting with looping. I am a keyboard player (Korg X50 at the moment) as well as fledgling guitarist. If you should feel so inclined, you can check out some of my stuff at www.myspace.com/kenrobargeIt's not looping, necessarily, but what I've been up to for the last year. Thanks for shaming me into posting, Nick! LOL! Regards to all, Ken

Thanks for shaming me into posting, Nick! LOL! I use the bulk mail option sparingly! Tell us what gear you loop with. I've got a roland vintage synth module and often loop with that. It's a case of trying to be a musician instead of a guitarist and working within my limited keyboard talents!

What I've had the most experience (and fun) with is my acoustic guitar, a Parkwood PW-370M. I've the opposite problem from you, Nick, in that it's me trying to be a musician instead of a keyboard player! I have done some looping with my keyboard, which currently is a Korg X50. I love the Echoplex, and like the Korg, it's a very deep piece of hardware. I've only begun to scratch the surface.
