Wins an award for worst user interface on a looper. To activate recording, you hold down the footswitch, wait for 3 seconds till the led color changes, then the unit somehow decides when you have "started playing". The close the loop, you release the footswitch. After that you're allowed to overdub if you want, ..or you can stop (and erase) the loop. That seems to be it, unless there's something the manual isn't telling us.

Release the foot pedal when done." As you say, darn crazy. And what a shame, it's even in stereo.

This looks like a souped up version of the Digidelay pedal I have. The manual reads almost the same. This is a 4 sec delay looper. www.zzounds.com/item--DGTDDI love it but I don't use the loop function. On mine you press the pedal to start recording and then release for playback. No feedback though. The way I use it and it looks like this one will do it too w/an 8 sec instead of 4 sec delay is in normal delay mode (or reverse etc) I put it in tap tempo mode with the repeats medium until I get something I like and then twist the repeats knob all the way up (I use my toes for this) I can then play along with it. When I want to change up I just back off on the repeats thus freeing it from repeat/hold. The loop fades as I add more. Its very easy. It says "turning the repeats knob to the maximum position engages repeats-hold of the delay signal." this is where this pedal lives for me. Lotta fun! peace out, Jeff

Ah, so turning the repeats knob all the way clockwise disconnects the signal from the input, so you can play along without adding anything, is that correct?

Yes thats right. It engages hold until you back off the repeats knob a bit then the old bits fade as you add new. With tap tempo it makes a nice little looper. In tap tempo you can't just stop and start though since the pedal is being used. It would be nice to have a footswitch input on it, sigh...

Another thing I like to do with the 4 sec version is tap in a measure or whatever , put the feedback up about 3/4 then turn down the level all the way. When there is a lull in my jam just bring the level up and turn up the feedback into hold mode. It's amazing the little washs and scapes you can come up with. I just leave it running sometimes for awhile. Come back later pull down the feedback and morph it into something different and so on. j
